Nike, Inc. is a major publicly traded sportswear and equipment supplier based in the United States. Focusing on a number of sporting industries, Nike asked Origo Branding Company to assist in the illustration and design for a new line of Global Running Tees. Given a hero theme of a “sporty rabbit”, the Origo design team used its creative assets to come up with a graphic character with simple shapes and added color and dimension for Nike Women’s Running product line.
We developed a new logo to move the look and feel forward, incorporating the icon with a sporty approach to reflect the overall brand image of Nike. After conducting research and testing, the Origo team was excited for the new design and product line of Nike Women’s Running apparel to be produced and sold worldwide.
To give some insight into the Origo process, below are a few of the sketches and exercises conducted when conceputalizing the product line with the Nike team, exploring different styles and approaches for the new iconic rabbit theme.
