ORIGO WINS GOLD AT THE 2013 ADDY AWARDS!

February 28, 2014

AAF Columbus is one of the most influential and prestigious organizations in the local creative community, playing a vital role in the community’s growth to become the innovative and talented body that it is today. Last night AAF Columbus hosted the 2013 Columbus American Advertising Awards (The ADDYs) at The Bluestone, gathering over 300 creative professionals to celebrate the best work of the year. Here at Origo, we are proud to announce our Gold ADDY Award in the “Self-Promotion, Digital Advertising” category for our Origo Christmas Promotion. As every Gold ADDY winner goes on to regional competition, we are also ecstatic to represent Columbus and compete with other cities in the Midwest.

It is gratifying for our organization to win this award because the Origo Christmas Promotion reflects our creative spirit and everyday practices (see below). We brought to life the Holiday spirit through creative design components such as wordclouds, typography, messaging, motion graphics, and design/illustration. This ADDY is not just an award for one of our projects, it serves as great recognition for our exceptional process, our compelling design techniques, and our refined approach to creative storytelling. After a year of dedication and commitment, we can finally say “It’s Worth It”!

We are also excited because our VP of Accounts, Alessandro Ciaffoncini, is going to assume the role of President of the AAF Columbus chapter. With such devotion to the organization, Origo is excited to play an integral role in AAF, as we continue to grow our relationship with such an inspiring group and community. With this new partnership we hope to have an even greater impact in the voice and direction of our industry, helping it prosper as a national example of artistry and innovation.
