AAF Columbus, a local affiliate of the national American Advertising Federation, is one of the most influential and distinguished organizations in the Central Ohio creative community. As President of AAF Columbus, Alessandro Ciaffoncini (our own VP Accounts Director at the podium in the above picture), helped host last night’s 2014 American Advertising Awards (The ADDYs) at The Blustone. The event was in front of a sold-out crowd of over 400 creative professionals from all the leading agencies in town to celebrate the best work of the year. As Alessandro states, “The ADDYs have always been an important and prestigious event for our city’s creative industry”.
Here at Origo, we were very excited to announce our Gold ADDY Award in the “Design Elements” category for Logo Design, recognizing our re-brand strategy for ColumbusUnderground.com.
We were also incredibly pleased to receive a Silver ADDY in the “Public Service – Campaign Collateral” category for our development of the Columbus Metropolitan Library Foundation’s Fundraising Campaign for “Great Libraries Create”.
With 450 entries in this year’s competition, we were proud to win these distinguished awards. At Origo, our work is always about empowering our clients’ brands through creativity and results. Though, it is always nice to be recognized by your industry peers. We are also ecstatic to be awarded for collaborations with other local organizations like Columbus Underground and the Columbus Metropolitan Library, as these are institutions that are a true example of progress and achievement in our city.
We congratulate all of the winners of the awards competition, as we are so proud to be part of one of our nation’s great creative communities.
