It’s March already. We have seen winter come and go, and it’s starting to be that time of year again when I can start walking to work from my home in Victorian Village.
When strolling to work the other day through the Short North, past my favorite shops and businesses, and into Downtown Columbus to our creative headquarters, I realized something— I love working downtown.
And it’s not just me, my fellow colleagues agree. Over the past 4 years since moving from Clintonville, we have created a great network of friends, relationships, and partnerships with the neighboring businesses around us. We go see our friends at Deli Boys for the best sandwiches in Columbus, head to Barrio for happy hour to share the day’s victories, and head to the roof to enjoy Red White and Boom— Columbus’ biggest 4th of July party.
So we thought we would share our love of Downtown Columbus with a new video series: Origo Downtown. In this series, we share the view and perspective of the giant windows of Origo, reflecting the different cultures, events, and energy of Downtown Columbus.
In our first video, we celebrate the Irish, capturing an amazing St. Patrick’s Day Parade on a beautiful March day. Check out what Downtown looks like when it’s filled with bagpipes, leprechauns, and a whole lot of green!
Let us know what you think about this series, and please feel free to suggest different aspects of Downtown Columbus that you enjoy.
